Chris Guarino has just been named as 2009's Best Local Artist by the readers of 5280 Magazine. Currently living and working out of his home studio in Denver, CO, Chris has been working as a life casting artist since 1998. His work has been commissioned by large corporations as well as private individuals, and adorns the homes of pro athletes and fellow artists alike.

One of Chris's most sought after services are his "Specialty Castings," where he goes beyond the realm of traditional life casting to create a truly unique work of art. These pieces are tailor made around the desires of the client to express a little more of their personality.

In addition to being a life caster, Chris has also worked as a special effects makeup artist. His work has appeared in both the theater and the silver screen. Productions featuring Chris's work include: The Wiz (2006), The Enemy God (2007), and Ink (2008), as well as several music videos.
